Citrine, Heat treated Amethyst.

To create heat treated Citine  an Amethyst crystal is baked at temperatures of around 800-900 degrees Farenheit, this changes the colour to deepening shades of orange, depending on how long it is "cooked" for.

This crystal Citrine is believed to have a strong connection to the sacral and solar plexus chakras. This stone transmits a warm energy that that is reminiscent of the sun, activating happiness and joy.
